Etsy's Handmade Holiday Workshop at West Elm in Princeton, NJ

Last week West Elm hosted a Handmade Holiday Workshop and Etsy Mini Market at every single West Elm store.
Guests were encouraged to create origami ornaments to take home or add to West Elm's tree as part of their ornament and gift/food drive to support local charities.
I was at the Princeton, NJ West Elm with a few EtsyNJ members helping to coordinate the workshop.

Amazing talent and super sweet! Check out their shops:
in front - Jacqualynn - thanks for coordinating!!
Claire (future Etsy seller, we hope!)
Cara (that's me)
The decorated tree, food and gifts were donated to the local charity, Mercer Street Friends Food Bank.
(I should have taken a photo of the tree after it was decorated.)

It wasn't crazy busy but there was enough traffic to keep us busy.  West Elm even provided snacks and drinks!

I met many wonderful Etsy buyers and sellers that night.  A special shout out to Etsy seller, Geralyn of Greetings from Geralyn, who braved nasty traffic and a long ride just to join us!
These Etsy sellers were part of the Mini Market:
More amazing talent.  Give their shops a peek:
Next week I'll share some photos of West Elm's unique home decor.  I could just move right into that store and be comfy cozy.  Love West Elm!
Did you make it to your local West Elm for the Handmade Holiday event?  Let's hear about it!  Post your comments and blog posts below.
As always, thanks for visiting!

West Elm and Etsy invite you to a Handmade Holiday Workshop

It's a Handmade Holiday Workshop!  This Thursday Etsy and West Elm are coordinating a holiday market of epic proportions. Find gifts from local Etsy sellers, make a holiday craft with an Etsy team and support a local charity, all at your nearest West Elm store! Come by on Thursday, December 1 from 6-9 p.m. to participate in the festivities. RSVP and find more details on locations or learn about the collaboration between Etsy and West Elm here.  You will find team members from EtsyNJ at both the Princeton and Paramus West Elm stores.  The Princeton West Elm charity is Mercer Street Friends.  And you can find me at the Princeton store.  Stop by and say hi!!  If you make it to Paramus, say hi to EtsyGreetings team mate Kimberly of Honizukle Press.  She has lovely letterpress cards that you must see.  Hope you can make it to a West Elm store Thursday!
