Easter Challenges

It's vacation week here, yay!! My brother is visiting from Florida and our first stop after leaving the airport was South Philly for Pat's Steaks!  Yum, there is nothing better than Philly cheese steaks full of cheese wiz and grease!!  If you don't know what I'm talking about, just ask around next time you get to Philly.

You've just got to try one!!

This week we'll hit the shore, visit the new Irish Pub in town and then on to Baltimore to catch the Orioles/Yankees game at Camden Yards.  And, of course, lots of  R&R.

Sending wishes for a blessed Passover and Easter!  Do you have any special plans?  We celebrate Easter complete with traditional Ukrainian and Polish foods.  Yes, kielbasa, pork, pirogi...I will have to walk a few extra miles next week since Easter candy will be on the menu as well.  Who can resist Aunt Charlotte's butter cream eggs and Peeps?!  Not me!

I am playing along in the following challenges with my Easter Blessing Card.

Just a reminder about Dollar Days at Lettering Delights!  It's going strong until April 28th so swing by for bargain fonts, alphabets, SVGs and graphics.  Click below to see how you can get free product!!  Have a blessed week!

iCopic Challenge No.8 and Bugaboo's Gearing Up for Christmas

iCopic's Challenge 8 is to use the above colors with an ornament.  I used this new digi stamp (new to me that is) from Bugaboo Stamps (the 50% off sale is still going on), Copics (what else?!), retired Stampin' Up designer paper and bling, bling, bling!  I think it makes for a fun card.  I also included this in Bugaboo's Gearing Up for Christmas Challenge.

We're heading off to NYC for a party at BB King's Blues Club.  It's brunch with the Beatles!  I have to get back there on a Sunday for their Gospel Brunch.  This month has been filled with milestone birthdays, an anniversary and Thanksgiving.  Lots of good eating and fun.  Happy Saturday!

I love my Karate Kid

This is my favorite card ever.  It needs no explanation.

Recipe:
Karate Ian-The Greeting Farm (He's a digi stamp, my fav!)
Copic Markers
Stampin' Up designer paper and cardstock
Cuttlebug Star Embossing Folder

I added this to the Copic Challenge Corner at Simply Scrapping Crafts HERE.  You know, the spot where you can learn about your Copics for FREE!  This card is also an entry for Lucy's Cards: Old and New Challenge.  That SU designer paper is old!
