Cascarones for Easter

The weather is warming up, the daffodils are starting to sprout up and with Daylight Savings Time this weekend it's finally beginning to feel like spring!  It's been a great March and last week this Jersey girl got a chance to see Bon Jovi in concert!!  The next night we saw John Waite live who has Kyle Cook from Matchbox 20 on tour with him.   Great shows!!  And we checked out an exhibit "Secrets of the Silk Road" featuring mummies and 4,000 year old artifacts.  Cool stuff!

Have you ever seen Cascarones?  They are confetti eggs which are hollowed-out chicken eggs filled with confetti (or even small toys.)   Cascarones can be crushed over the recipient's head to shower him or her with confetti.  It's said to bring good luck.  Here are a few photos from Gracie's Eggies Etsy shop:

Cascarones have become popular for all occasions!  Check out Gracie' Eggies for more cascarones for your next party.

Wouldn't these Funny Bunny Candy Treat Bags be cute in a basket of Cascarones?  The "Funny Bunny" is from Wild Blueberry Ink's Easter Bunny and Easter Theme sheet.  Check it out for more fun Easter images.

Think Spring!!!
