Challenge 36 at Die Cuts R Us and off to LA today!!

Hello there!  This is a preposted entry and let's hope I'm sleeping since I have to get up early to catch a flight to LA for Provo Craft/Cricut Training.  Whoo hoo!!  I'm looking forward to a fun time this week!   How many times do you think I'll call and text home?  Hundreds?  Hopefully, I'll be busy enough not to worry about a thing.

So here we go with another crafty challenge at Die Cuts R Us.  This week the Design Team used the patterned papers from American Crafts Everyday and Backyard collections.  It's a double sided collection, super cute and versatile.  Great for a boy or girl theme and certainly a good choice for spring and summer layouts!

Our challenge theme is just to create two of something.  With 2 boys, 2 skateboards and 2 cute stamps, 2 layouts were in order.  I love that the Puddle Jumper Davey and Stampavie Skater Dude coordinated perfectly!  I am not pleased with the color quality of the second layout but I tried and tried and couldn't get a better photo.

Recipe:
American Crafts Everyday and Backyard Collection; Copic Markers; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Neenah Cardstock; Puddle Jumper Davey; Stampavie Skateboard Dude; Tim Holtz Paper Distresser; Spellbinders Nestabilities; Spring Green Candy Dots; Colormates Deep Creamy Cocoa; Stampin' Up Textured Cardstock, Marker and Ink;  Cricut Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge and Doodlecharms; Little Yellow Bicycle Zach's Life Epoxy Words

So let's see 2 of your creations this week~cards, layouts or altered items, we love it all.  To play along with this week's challenge, just upload your creation to the DCRU Design Team blog HERE by 9PM EST Sunday, May 2nd.  And don't forget where we will be May 4th for the next challenge, A Crafty Little Place!! Check it out, sign on, grab a button and mark your calender for the big move on May 4th!

Have a great week!
