And since it's a Limited Edition Collection, it was first on my wish list. Although Easter cards initially came to mind at first sight, I then saw that the Spellbinders Cross Collection has yearlong possibilities. It's perfect for Baptism, Christening, Dedications, First Communion, Wedding and even Sympathy cards. The crosses are an elegant addition to your scrapbook pages, photo frames and mini albums. Decorate a little notebook and you've got a lovely prayer journal.
One feature I love about the Spellbinder Cross Collection is you have the ability to cut, emboss and/or stencil. To stencil just run the cross through your die cutting system (Epic Six works great). Leave your cardstock in the die and sponge the desired ink color over the cross. Don't forget to clean the ink off.
You can find these pretty teal pearls here at Die Cuts R Us. And that gorgeous paper is clear embossed with glitter and from The Whimsy Stack. You can find it here.
But for a special day in baby boy's life, I made this sweet little photo album to hold precious photos.
The crosses are layered with 3D Dots that I cut in half and added to the back of the cross so the end result is a lovely 3-D cross. I used Prism Cardstock, Swiss Dots Embossing Folder and the Spellbinders Oval Nestabilities.
What do you think? Don't you just love the new Cross Collection? I love that the 4 crosses can be layered, embossed and/or stenciled. You've got quite a number of different looks you can achieve with one little set. If you love it, remember that it's a limited edition set so when it's gone, it's gone! Lucky for us, Die Cuts R Us has plenty in stock and at a fabulous price, too!! We'd love to see your creations with the new Spellbinders Shapeabilities Cross Collection so feel free to link your project here in the comments. You never know...you could be the next Guest Designer at Die Cuts R Us.
Have a fantastic weekend!!
Hugs~~~Cara
