Project 365 Book Giveaway

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday.  I 've been lazy as I recover from the crazy month and get over a nasty respiratory infection.  I'm enjoying my rest with the boys home from school this week.  I loaded up my Sony Reader and am trying to get a little reading done.  Any recommendations?

Can you believe I filled Valentine orders already?  If you're an Etsy seller, you're never to early for the next holiday.  This is a treat bag topper for a little someone to share with her preschool friends.

On to the giveaway news...do you know what Project 365 is?  It's a fun project that began with photographers but it quickly spread to scrapbookers.  The theme is to take one photo a day for a year and if you like, you scrapbookers can journal about it.  It's kind of like a photo diary.  I had no intention of partaking but then I saw this super fabulous template book from JoeyLynn Designs and Wild Blueberry Ink

They've made it so easy to document your daily journey through 2011 with this template kit.  And you won't believe all you get with it!  This photo below is from Joey to show you how cool a finished page can look!  Easy peasy...my kind of scrappin'.

Visit my friends' blogs HERE for Wild Blueberry Ink and HERE for Joey's blog.  They are both giving away a chance to win this template kit.  Hurry, the giveaway ends Friday at midnight.  Owl Tree Studio will be carrying the template and you can look for it HERE.  Enjoy the last bit of 2010!!

Owl Tree Studio and Wild Blueberry Ink News

Owl Tree Studio is both a subscription club and a regular store now.  And the news is that Wild Blueberry Ink's releases from Little Dreamer Designs are also available at OTS HERE.  Eventually, you'll even find collage sheets from Wild Blueberry Ink at OTS but for now, you can still find them in her Etsy Shop.

Last week, OTS released this fabulous "Love Birds" kit from Lilleyscrap Designs.  Isn't it sweet?!

Lucky me, I got to play around with it and made a card for someone special.

I added dimensional tape and brads to give the flowers a little interest.

My Diary 2011 Project (designed by various artists on the web) was sitting nearby.  They are still available for order HERE.  I like to order mine naked so I can decorate the cover myself.  The Love Birds Kit was perfect.  I designed a cover and printed it out twice.

 Here's my cover.

With the second copy, I made an anniversary card for my sweetie and a bookmark for my diary.  Love it!!

If you'd like to check out the complete post regarding my hybrid projects, hop on over to Owl Tree Studios HERE.  I am so thrilled that Tiffany featured me!!  Tonight at 9PM EST you can chat with Shirley of Wild Blueberry Ink and she loves to share goodies with those who stop by.  Details are on the OTS blog.  I'll try and pop in...can I wrap and chat at the same time?  We shall see. One thing is for sure, my Christmas cards will be late this year, especially for my international friends.  Darn flu!

Checking in and catching up...

Hello friends and welcome...I've hit 200 blog followers and I thank you!!

I've spent the last 5 weeks doing Custom Orders in my spare time and there's been little time leftover for  blogging, tweeting, facebooking or creating many new items but I'm getting back on track again.  Here's a peek at  my favorite new baby album.

I've also added Christmas Goodies to my Etsy shop and you can find them HERE.

                                                   Santa's Little Christmas Photo Album

It hasn't been just all work and no play.  Friday I went with 40+ kindergartners to a local farm and we picked sweet potatoes and corn.  It truly is the yummiest popcorn and we'll eat it next week once the corn cobs dry out.
Our sweet potatoes are on the scrawny side but will be delicious.

I wanted to share that on Tuesday Shirley from Wild Blueberry Ink will be releasing  her “Infinity” kit at Little Dreamer Designs. Here is a sneak peek:

This kit is all about those things in your life that last forever so I know it will be perfect for my 17th wedding anniversary card.  Never be afraid of a blind date...you just might meet your soul mate.

If you want to get a free copy of "Infinity" visit HERE and leave Shirley a comment.  If you tweet the news, repost it, or facebook it go back and leave another comment HERE on her blog.  The more you comment the more chances you have to win. On Monday night at 10PM (EST) - right after her chat at Owl Tree Studio, Shirley will post the winner on her blog.

And speaking of chatting, you can chat with the gal behind Wild Blueberry Ink on Monday, November 15 at 9PM EST at Owl Tree Studio.  It'll be a fun chat about design, ideas, life and FREE stuff!!  I hope to pop in after I get my little angels to bed.  Hope you can make it!!
