Yesterday was my birthday. Thank you to those who sent me sweet wishes. It was a nice day with loved ones topped with gifts, yummy cakes (yes, 2!) and a movie, Get Low. The supply lists have arrived from school and the boys have their assigned teachers. Summer is nearing an end. I'm ready for some cooler weather.
There's a new digital kit, Grand Love Story, at Little Dreamer Designs that Wild Blueberry Ink and Creations by Tinamarie put together.
I admit that with all the stamps and goodies I have I don't have anything specific to the "grands" in my life. What I love about this kit is that when you purchase Grand Love Story, you will receive a free add on of 43 hand written words and 43 ribbon twills that say Grandma and Grandpa in many languages – Polish, Spanish, Russian, German, Chinese, Filipino, Australian, Hawaiian, Dutch, English and more. The kit is just in time for Grandparent's Day, September 12th.
Here is a card I made with the kit for my mother-in-law who is "Nana" to the boys. I left it blank inside since I'm not sure if I want to use if for Grandparent's Day or as her birthday card.

There's the ribbon twill with a pretty flower layered on top. I layered those on one of the patterned papers found within the kit. Isn't digital fun?
Those dainty butterflies are cut with an embosslit from Stampin' Up. I used papers from the kit, just jazzed 2 of the butterflies up with some rhinestones. What girl doesn't like bling?
Go on and have a peek at Grand Love Story and make something special for the grands in your life.
